We revisit Lord Funk's "Bad Day" off 2016 album Global Warming, which was filled with a cornucopia of mid 80s sounds.
Disco, Hip Hop, Rare Groove, Deep Boogie and foot-tapping funk all are signature features of Lord Funk's sound and can also be found within the new single Good Day / Bad Day.
"A Real Good Day" keeps you hooked with irresistibly catchy bass line groove. This synth heavy stomper is sure to make you bounce with percussive breakdowns, extra fills. The Sound effects, vocal ad-lib and storytelling lyrics from Real Fake MC paint a picture of what a good day is like in the world of Lord Funk.
On the flip side we have 'A Bad Day'... This downtempo funk jam, incorporates flutes, oriental percussion and jazzy keys. The vocals lines are often scratched which give a free flowing rhythm.
